As a matter of principle, we process our users' personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The legal bases are Art. 6(1)(a) (consent), (b) (contract or pre-contractual measures) and (f) (legitimate interest) GDPR.
When you visit our website, the web server automatically processes certain information (IP address, date and time, page accessed, browser type, referrer URL). This processing is carried out to deliver the website and to ensure stability and security (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Hosting takes place in the EU.
For inquiries submitted via our contact form (including demo requests, Enterprise plan, partner referrals), we process the data you provide (name, business email, phone number, use case, message) to handle your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the intended purpose and no statutory retention obligations apply.
With your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), we send our newsletter to the email address you provide. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.
When you register a user account, we process your name, email address and password (encrypted) to provide the account (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). When signing in via third-party providers (e.g. GitHub, Google, enterprise SSO), we receive the profile data released by the respective provider; the provider's privacy notices apply in addition.
For license purchases in the Marketplace, we process order and invoicing data (company, name, address, VAT ID, email, selected payment method) for the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and on the basis of retention obligations under commercial and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). Payment data is processed by the respective payment service provider.
When you submit a module for certification, we process your provider and contact details, technical information and submitted files (including README, repository URL) to carry out the review and certification process and, where applicable, to handle the revenue share (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

This data remains on your device and can be deleted at any time via your browser settings (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; Section 25(2) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG)).
