The open-source ecosystem for developers: create APIs with ease, work with your favorite frameworks, customize everything — hosted on Wiresphere Cloud or on your own servers.

Where to Start

One platform, four perspectives — choose yours.

Why Now

Software is no longer built. It is composed.

Two forces converge in 2026: AI coding agents are shifting who writes enterprise software — and EU regulation (AI Act, NIS2, data sovereignty) determines whom companies entrust their software to. Both push away from monoliths — toward modular, sovereign stacks.

Small scopes

instead of monoliths — LLM contexts are limited.

Standard interfaces

instead of custom glue — agents don't read tribal knowledge.

Runtime changes

instead of CI/CD cycles — agents work in seconds.

Sovereign stacks

instead of US cloud dependency — the AI Act, NIS2, and data sovereignty determine whom companies trust.

Problem

Enterprise software is structurally incompatible with AI coding.

01

Monoliths are not agent-ready

A typical industry solution has 200k–2M lines of code. No model has the context to make a change safely.

02

Integrations break with every update

60–70 % of development effort in B2B software goes into integration maintenance (Gartner, 2024). AI makes this worse.

03

Marketplaces exist — but only for plugins

Shopify, AppExchange: rigid extension points. Nobody allows live module swaps without a redeploy.

04

The economic middle is missing

Between rigid standard SaaS and expensive custom development, there is no viable option for the mid-market today.

How It Works

Wiresphere: a modular runtime for enterprise software.

Enterprise applications are composed at runtime from interchangeable modules — not built once and then maintained.

01

Isolated scopes

Each module is a clearly bounded area with a clean interface — perfectly sized for a coding agent.

02

Live composition

Modules are loaded, replaced, deactivated — without redeploy, without downtime.

03

Marketplace

Verified modules circulate between developers, integrators, and companies.

04

Standard interfaces

Modules communicate via type-safe, versioned interfaces — no custom glue, no tribal knowledge.

We make enterprise software so granular that AI finds it maintainable — and so open that an ecosystem can build on it.

Your Path

One ecosystem, three moves: start, build, extend.

No matter where you start — everything runs in the same runtime and stays one system.

The common thread: Whatever you start, build, or buy speaks the same contracts and runs in the same runtime — no break between off-the-shelf solution, in-house development, and purchased features.

Features

Everything modular enterprise software needs.

Live composition

Modules are loaded, replaced, or deactivated at runtime — without redeploy, without downtime, without maintenance windows.

Isolated scopes

Each module is a clearly bounded area with a clean interface. Independently developable, testable, and maintainable — including by coding agents.

Type-safe Module SDK

Standardized, type-safe, and versioned interfaces. No custom glue, no tribal knowledge.

Marketplace with auto-update

Verified modules with discovery, licensing, and automatic updates — straight into the running application.

Portable across frontends

The same modules run on the web, kiosk hardware, and B2B back office. Build once, use many times.

Sovereign by default

Open source core, EU hosting or on-prem, GDPR- and NIS2-compliant. No vendor lock-in.

Orchestration by the runtime

The runtime loads, isolates, and orchestrates modules — changes take effect in seconds instead of CI/CD cycles.

Built for coding agents

Scopes are small enough for LLM contexts — AI tools can safely extend and maintain modules.

Nova · AI Agent

Meet Nova.

The ecosystem's AI agent: answers emails in Outlook, advises customers in chat all the way to purchase, and evaluates CRM, product, and statistics data — controlled by permissions and the Service Broker.

Sovereignty & Openness

Sovereign and open — by design.

In 2026, digital sovereignty is no longer purely a compliance topic — it is an architecture topic. Wiresphere builds it into the core — not on top.

01

Open source core

Auditable core under the AGPL-3.0 license. No black box, no hidden dependencies — security is verifiable.

02

EU hosting & on-prem

Runs on-premise or in the EU cloud. Data never leaves the chosen jurisdiction — GDPR- and NIS2-compliant by default.

03

No vendor lock-in

Modules are standardized and portable. Leaving is as easy as joining — the opposite of Power Platform & co.

04

Compliance built in

The AI Act, GDPR, and NIS2 are architectural principles — not an afterthought add-on. Sovereignty is part of the core.

While US platforms sell lock-in, we sell control. In the DACH region, sovereignty in 2026 is not a feature — it is the buying decision.

Technology

4 building blocks, one ecosystem.

Marketplace, Module SDK, Enterprise SDK, and the runtime interlock — each component with a clear interface and a clear audience.

01 · Distribution

Marketplace

Find, license, and keep verified modules and scripts up to date — updates flow automatically into running applications.

04 · Foundation

Runtime

The foundation of the ecosystem: the runtime loads modules at runtime, isolates their scopes, and orchestrates communication via standard interfaces — changes take effect in seconds instead of CI/CD cycles, faults stay locally contained, rollbacks happen per module.

Marketplace & Ecosystem

One marketplace, three sides.

Every new module makes the platform more valuable for everyone — developers, integrators, and companies benefit from one another.

01

Developers build modules

Develop with the Module SDK and sell via the Marketplace — with a fair revenue share. Built once, reusable in every industry.

02

Integrators compose

Verified modules become complete industry solutions — without code from scratch. Drastically shorter time-to-solution.

03

Companies use

Ready-made, verified solutions with automatic updates — flexibly extensible, without being tied to a vendor.

And certification keeps watch over it all: type checking, compatibility and quality review before a module enters the catalog — every new module makes the platform more valuable for all three sides.

Case Study

From custom build to reusable module.

01 · Starting point

An international kiosk provider needed e-commerce in hardware terminals.

No browser context, proprietary hardware, multiple markets. No existing SaaS solution fit.

02 · The Wiresphere solution

E-commerce modules from the existing stack embedded in the kiosk runtime.

Updates happen live, without terminal redeploys. Modules are portable between web, kiosk, and B2B back office.

03 · Why it matters

First commercial proof: build once, use many times.

The same modules run in four very different industry frontends. That is exactly the Marketplace case.

About Us

From monolith to open ecosystem.

Wiresphere is not a drawing-board product — it is the consequence of ten years of enterprise software development.

2015 · Founding

Started as a GmbH

Founded with the goal of developing a flexible e-commerce solution alongside custom enterprise software projects — implemented rather monolithically back then. The first major customer went live internationally with 150 instances.

The Learning

The monolith slows you down

Further development became sluggish — every change touched the entire system. This experience from large-scale production operations became the most important design guideline for everything that followed.

2020 · Foundation

Wiresphere is born

With these learnings we laid the foundation for Wiresphere and paved the way to a microservice architecture — planned from the start as an open, modular ecosystem.

Today

Open, type-safe, AI-native

Wiresphere gives developers worldwide an open-source, rigorously type-safe system for their software projects. Thanks to its modularization it offers native AI support — custom requirements can be realized quickly, flexibly, and cost-effectively within the ecosystem.

What we believe in

Openness by design

  • Open source and rigorously type-safe — for developers worldwide
  • Modularization as the foundation for native AI support
  • A fair, transparent billing model instead of hidden costs

Our model

Fair for community & companies

  • Free is free for everyone — custom developments are published and benefit the community
  • Developers write their own extensions and monetize them via the Marketplace
  • Companies use Free or the hosted variant — or keep industry-specific in-house developments private with the Enterprise SDK
